Air Panama in "Big Negotiations"
Sources at Air Panama stated that company owners are in negotiations for something "big." Rumors have it that Air Panama is going to lease or purchase 2 Fokker 100 jets possibly for operations of the PTY (Tocumen) - DAV (David, Enrique Malek International Airport) route. Nothing has been confirmed yet, although when asked about the jet acquisition, the sources did not deny the possibility. There has been a lot of chatter lately, along with acknowledgement from COPA Airlines regarding flight service to David's Enrique Malek Airport from Tocumen. COPA confirmed that the route PTY - DAV will begin first quarter of 2011.
